What is izifi?
A Finnish–English dictionary with built-in vocabulary learning. You can look words up in both directions, save them into decks, and review them with spaced-repetition flashcards.
Does it work offline?
Yes. The dictionary is bundled with the app, so everyday lookups work with no connection. Rarer words and advanced entries are fetched from our server when you're online; if you're offline, izifi simply shows what it has locally.
I found a wrong, missing or incomplete definition.
Please email us the exact word and what's wrong, and we'll look into it. The dictionary is built from open sources and improves over time, so these reports genuinely help.
How do I report a bug or crash?
Email phuc.tran@nooalab.fi with a short description, your device model and iOS or Android version, and the steps that led to it.
Where is my data stored?
Your saved words, decks, review schedule and search history stay on your device. izifi has no account and no sign-up. See the privacy policy for the full picture.
How do I delete my data?
Clear your history in the app's settings, or delete the app — that removes all locally stored data and stops the app's random installation id from being sent.
How much does izifi cost?
The core dictionary and learning features are free. If this changes, it'll be clearly noted in the app.
